ErzbergRodeo Round 2: Electric
ErzbergRodeo Round 2: Electric
The first Erzberg attempt with an electric motorcycle
After challenging Erzberg on a rally bike last year, I’m eager to see what I can accomplish on a premium bike that is designed specifically for this environment. I’m always on the lookout for new projects, projects that break the mould, push new boundaries and bring something new to my followers. I’m therefore super excited to be involved with the Alta Motors project, especially the announcement that I will be part of the team taking on the Erzbergrodeo at the end of the month in which I will be riding a prototype EXR.

Is the Redshift by Alta Motors a serious contender?
Lots of people asking me about the maneuverability of the Alta without a clutch. With 149ft.lbs of instantly available torque it’s up to the rider to know when to use it and when to switch it down. Playing with the electronics and settings on the bike is fun, so many tunable parameters.
Great day today, performance wise got to where I was with my 2-stroke on the extreme stuff which is a huge milestone in my head. I never doubted the bike, it’s got some serious potential, just takes time to adjust and this week we got that time together. Suspension closer, power delivery closer, controls nailed now and my Moto-Master Brake Systemsand Woody’s Wheel Works A60 superlaced wheels fitted. With new electronics and suspension from Alta Motors this week and new rubber and mousses from Michelin Motorcycle and we are close to dialed in.
