MONSOON EVO – GO LIGHT – EVEN WITH PANNIER FRAMES – As used by Lyndon on Races to Places 2018-2020

The Monsoon Evo is a modular soft luggage system developed to travel as light as possible, even with a lot of luggage and also offer the rider safety and reliability of soft bags.  With a weight of just 2.55 kg (size S) and 2.75 kg (size L) and no need for a heavy mounting plate the Monsoon Evo is the lightest frame mount pannier solution in the high-quality segment.  With 24 and 34 litres capacity, they offer enough storage space even for the longest adventure travels and are easily installed, removed and locked to the bike if you prefer.  If the volume of the main bag is still not sufficient, you can even add two small or large Fender Bags and four Can / Bottle Holsters on the outside just as Lyndon travelled with on Races to Places, all available separately making a truly modular soft luggage system. You can even strap additional items to the top of the bag with ease due to additional cargo loops on the top.

The Monsoon Evo fits almost all pannier frames with 18mm tubes.  Due to a newly developed and innovative mounting bracket, the bags can be attached to the pannier frames without an additional mounting plate saving a lot of weight, width and complexity. If you also mount a lock, the Monsoon Evo are also protected against unwanted removal (theft).

Like all Enduristan products, the Monsoon Evo is designed for the toughest journeys. The mounting brackets are made of fibre reinforced composite material, which has similar mechanical properties to aluminium. They use the signature and proven 3-layer fabric, which is extremely abrasion resistant and has proven itself in the past.  Lyndon has crashed heavily numerous times testing the material thoroughly 🙂  The lower edge and corners of the luggage  has additional edge protection to keep your bag safe in the event on multiple cases of dropping your bike, we know it happens!

Images of the bags in use on Races to Places are the prototypes and although very similar, the production bags will be very slightly different in appearance due to improvements only.

Order is “per side” for this item so if you wish to have the narrower “small” bag on one side and wider “large” bag on the other side to make the width of your bike more symmetrical you can simply order one of each.
