Race 2 Dakar 2020, Team Races to Places with Lyndon Poskitt: Support Team Announcement
With such a huge project ahead, 5 bikes bikes to build and 5 riders from different continents, this was never going to be a single handed project. This time, with no KTM support for spare parts at the Africa Race and a larger media project, I decided to do this one a little different. This time we will take our own support crew and media team, each one chosen for different reasons. Each rider and crew member will be included in the story as we pick highlights every day and share them with you in a fully edited format, transmitted via satellite every single day. I will remain the host of the series and bring the stories to you in my usual way but I think we can all expect a very different series to anything I have done before. I can’t wait to start sharing some of the preparation and planning as we approach the start of the race. We’ll be back soon!
When looking at the old images of the Paris-Dakar or the present day Dakar or Africa Eco Race, many of us are dreaming of being able to do that one day.
Maybe you are preparing to do just that and need training before the big event, or maybe you are not quite that world class racer but still want to live the experience and conquer those trails on a real factory rally bike. Maybe you just want to feel the rally without the pressure and dangers that go with it.
