Adventure Motorcycling Documentary Races To Places SE9 EP12 Ft. Lyndon Poskitt
After riding from the Arctic Ocean all the way through the Americas, we have arrived in Asuncion, Paraguay for the Start of the Dakar Rally 2017. We take a short look back over the journey before going to pick up the race bike and get stuck into the preparations for the big event, saying goodbye to Basil Bike for a few weeks and embarking on the next big challenge.
You can see how the race unfolded by viewing the Races to Places special feature “Malle Moto – The Forgotten Dakar Story” on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/JjF_m99VAv8

When looking at the old images of the Paris-Dakar or the present day Dakar or Africa Eco Race, many of us are dreaming of being able to do that one day.
Maybe you are preparing to do just that and need training before the big event, or maybe you are not quite that world class racer but still want to live the experience and conquer those trails on a real factory rally bike. Maybe you just want to feel the rally without the pressure and dangers that go with it.
