As Basil and I make a u-turn in Zambia due to rain season and some reported impassable tracks heading East, something a little different comes up. While discussing options with a friend Cuan I met at the Roof of Africa (Season 12 EP1-3), we worked up a plan to take a boat across to Mozambique, all the way down the Zambezi River through the middle of the Lower Zambezi and Mana Pools National Parks, two places I would have normally not seen in this much detail. With Basil on the boat, an experiences skipper Norman and friend Cuan, we set off a multi-day cruise with fishing, camping, wildlife spotting and more, what an incredible experience.
